Khedrupje Centre History |

In the Autumn of 1985 Khedrupje Centre first began holding weekly
Meditation classes in Hull. Many people joined these classes in the
early years and the Centre finally became residential in 1992, when 185 Coltman Street was
purchased. Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso visited & opened the
Centre at that time and predicted that there would be much benefit from
the dharma in Hull. Although we are a small Centre, many hundreds of
people have come to listen to Buddha’s teachings, and enjoyed the
special flavour of Khedrupje Centre.
