International Buddhist Union. The New Kadampa
Tradition is a
Mahayana Buddhist Tradition founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang
Gyatso Rinpoche. It is a worldwide network of Buddhist Centres, which help
people from all walks of life to develop peace & happiness through
understanding & practising the teachings of Buddha. Kadampa Centres
function to preserve and promote the pure teachings of Je Tsongkhapa,
the great Kadampa Buddhist Teacher. The NKT developed from a few
centres in the early 1980’s to well over 800 centres worldwide today.
