Happy New Year!

Posted on Thursday 31st December 2009

2010 was greeted with an international Kadampa welcome in over 40 countries and 15 languages where students of NKT Centres joined together to make auspicious prayers for world peace. New Year is the time of new beginnings; the time to start afresh and do things that would make someone else happy. Developing wisdom and compassion, and cherishing others, is the true meaning of life. If we apply this ancient Buddhist wisdom in our daily lives and make a pledge to make at least one person happy each day in 2010, we will immediately see the difference it can make to our own and others lives.
