Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche

Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso is a fully accomplished Meditation master and internationally renowned teacher of Buddhism.

Geshe-la, as he is affectionately called by his students, is primarily responsible for the worldwide revival of Kadampa Buddhism in our time.

He has established three unique study programs and over 800 centres around the world, trained qualified teachers and a flourishing ordained community, and created a project to build Buddhist temples in every major city in the world. Amoung those centres is our very own Khedrupje Centre, which Geshe-la came to open in 1987.

Gen. Kelsang Rigma

Gen Kelsang Rigma is the resident or main teacher of Khedrubje Buddhist Centre in Hull and Dharmaratna Buddhist Centre in Scunthorpe. An ordained Nun for over ten years now, Gen Rigma has received many teachings from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, and so is perfectly qualified to teach Buddha's instructions that are essential to help ourself and others realise pure happiness. Due to the very clear and accessible nature of Gen Rigma's teachings, we shall find it easy to apply them in our daily life.

In Hull Gen Kelsang Rigma teaches the Teacher Training Programme, the Foundation Programme and the Tuesday night drop-in class at Khedrubje Centre. In Scunthorpe she teaches the Foundation Programme and Wednesday night drop-in class.

Kelsang Ng�nshe

Kelsang Ngönshe is an ordained Buddhist Monk who has many years' experience of Meditation, his light hearted and approachable manner make his teachings clear, enjoyable and easy to integrate into our daily life. Kelsang Ngönshe teaches the drop-in class at Thwaite Hall, Cottingham. He is a student on the Teacher Training Programme at Khedrubje Centre.

Jendrik Rohsius

Jendrik Rohsius teaches the classes in Lincoln. Jendrik has been studying Meditation and Buddhism for over ten years and brings practical experience to his understanding of meditation and teachings. Jendrik is a student on the Teacher Training Programme at Khedrubje Centre.
