The International Temples Project
A Buddhist Temple is a unique place, a blessed and holy place. It is a place that will have a positive influence on millions of
people now and in the future, a perfect environment for the growth of
true human qualities such as love, compassion and wisdom. A Temple is a source of peace for everyone – a focus of world peace
The International Temples Project was established by Venerable Geshe
Kelsang in the early nineties. The vision is to build a Kadampa Temple
for World Peace in every major city in the world. The project is funded
entirely by voluntary donations and revenue from International Buddhist
Festivals.
